WHAT A COINCIDENCE… Yesterday, the iPad was announced for sale in Brazil. Therefore, I decided to design a newspaper cover for Diário de S.Paulo using the iPad as background for the headlines. This is not new: Wired, Popular Mechanics, Época, Info and many other magazines did it in the past. But I thought that this solutions would be very suitable to illustrate today’s issue, and the collaboration between me and the editor-in-chief Nelson Nunes achieved the result showed in here. Very well, the coincidence is that the Portuguese newspaper “i” did the same today (spotted by Robson Duarte). The iPad was released for sale today in Portugal. The funny thing is that the newspaper “i” used the same design element (yellow circle) to display the text about the iPad. At least we did it in the very same day, otherwise people would think we’ve copied each other. High-res
